We were established in 1960 as a Family Medicine Practice, encompassing all aspects of family health from pregnancy through to end of life care. We are a community based practice, covering Reservoir, Preston, Kingsbury and Bundoora. Some of the community languages we speak are: Cantonese, Italian, Malay, Mandarin and Spanish.
As part of our commitment to the future, we are part of the RACGP registrar program. We also take students from the University of Melbourne Medical School.

Saturday: 09:00 – 12:00
Closed on Sundays and public holidays

Dr Jean Gador Whyte
We are delighted to welcome back Dr Jean Gador White who is returning after completing 12 months experience in another practice. Many of you will remember her and will be pleased to know that she has returned to continue caring for our community.

We’re making it a little easier to check in at Reservoir Medical Group.
We’ve recently introduced a self-service check-in tablet for patient arrivals. If our reception team is busy helping other patients, you can simply check yourself in using the tablet. If you prefer to check in with one of our friendly reception staff, that’s still available too.
It’s all about giving you more choice, reducing waiting times, and helping your visit run as smoothly as possible.
New Patients welcome:
New patient appointments can be made by calling 03 8470 5888 or in person with our receptionists. They cannot be made through Automed.
We have a limited number of new patient appointments available each week, Monday to Friday, so please book well in advance. We do not have new patient appointments on Saturdays.
All new patient appointments are double appointments and are privately billed (as at 1st August 2025, $140 with a Medicare rebate of $84.90). Patients who are 15 and under, over 75 with a healthcare card, or who hold a DVA card will be bulk billed.
If you are unable to attend your new patient appointment, please notify us well in advance. A fee may be charged in the event of a no show.
